Restoring Courage Connecitcut Events:

“Now is the time to Stand with Courage. People all over Connecticut joined thousands of others around the world in standing with courage for Israel on 8/24. Several 9/12 Project groups across Connecticut held additional events in conjunction with the 8/24 "Restoring Courage" event. The 912er's of Southern Connecticut, a Shelton-based 9/12 group, organized a bus trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage ~ a Living Memorial to the Holocaust. They also arranged for the raising of the Israeli flag above the Connecticut State Capitol, every morning the week of the "Restoring Courage" event. The Windsor 9/12 group had a dinner prior to their viewing party. An article appeared on the Patch.com about the Southington 9/12 group's viewing party, which you can view by clicking here.

Joni Lambert, Connecticut's state 9/12 Project Coordinator and 9/12 Project Northeast Region Coordinator was able to travel to Israel for the live event and has created a website where she is documenting her trip at www.jonilambert.blog.com. She'll also be speaking about her experience in Israel at several 9/12 groups around Connecticut including:

NYC on 9/21: http://www.durban3nyc.com/ The video on this site is excellent. The Rally to oppose the Durban Conference is being held at noon to 2pm near the United Nations in NYC at the Hamarskjold Plaza. This is an opportunity to stand with Israel and make our voices heard to the United Nations.

Connect with Christians United for Israel at www.cufi.org. They offer guidance on how to stand with Israel plus if you sign up for email updates with them they’ll send you a wonderful PDF called Israel 101, which will help you learn the basics about Israel's history, geography, politics, culture, and enable you to become an better pro-Israel advocate.
